Open April through October, Beartown State Park is located on a 110-acre lot near Marlinton, West Virginia. The main attraction of this park is the 0.5 mile boardwalk trail looping through the sandstone boulders and cliffs.

The Beartown boardwalk is scattered with several interpretive signs that share the ecological and geological features of the park. The Droop sandstone and lush moss and ferns make for a breathtaking experience.

Amenities at this park include a wheelchair overlook, picnic tables, and drop toilets. Beartown is the perfect place to spend the afternoon.
